What does 'due for practice' mean?

Practice intervals are calculated in accordance with our algorithm. Research shows that once an item is learnt 5 times, it is generally known. However, memorisation is never a one-off task: memories fade. This is why even if you have reached Memorised status on questions, they will eventually degrade to Skilled. You should return regularly to maintain Memorised status to ensure you are prepared. Note that memorised status can only be reached after a prolonged period of studying (days) using the default algorithm. If you are cramming for an exam, you can adjust the practice bias to a shorter duration in the algorithm configurator.
