How are the multiple choice options generated?

Multiple-choice options are generated using our AI technology using a combination of answers in the current course and the course topic. The more questions in a level, the more likely the results will be relevant and challenging. Although multiple choice answers can be gathered from other courses and multiple dictionaries, you should aim for at least 20 questions in a level to have a good array of multiple choice answers. Note, as you become more familiar with a question the multiple-choice options will become more numerous and challenging. Multiple choices are added by relevancy based on the correct answer. e.g. if it is a Noun answer, other nouns will be added from your course which is similar in context and word similarity. If our system fails to find enough relevant multiple choices, we will also add choices from backup dictionaries and other sources. See our languages page to see which languages support syntax analysis - supported languages will provide significantly more relevant multiple choice options. If your course is showing low quality results in multiple choice, please use the Report question button from the utility bar in learn to link us to the specific question.
