Explanation of deindividuation for crowd behavior?

Deindividuation can explain crowd behavior because people loose their sense of personal awareness and responsibility in a crowd, especially if they are wearing a uniform. This makes them conform to the identify and behavior of the crowd. (which can prosocial or antisocial)
