Question:

What happens to students with positive ethnic pride?

Author: Ahmad Danial

Answer:

Students with positive ethnic identities are better adjusted, achieve higher in school, and have more positive beliefs about their ability to cope with their environment (Ghavani, Fingerhut, Peplau, Grant, & Wittig, 2011; Marks, Patton, & Coll, 2011). In addition they are less likely to use drugs or engage in risky behaviours (Brook, Zhang, Finch, & Brook, 2010).
