Dose: glucagon 1 mg (1 unit) by intramuscular (or subcutaneous) injection ○ Takes 5-10 minutes to work ○ Need to have glycogen storage for this to work Do in some circumstances e.g. severe anorexia, glycogen stores might be low and in which case glucagon is ineffective
